I hold a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the Julius-Maximilians-University, Würzburg, Germany, a Master of Science in Science Communication from the Open University, United Kingdom, and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Saarbrücken, Germany. As a EUROTOX-registered toxicologist, I bring over 25 years of academic and industrial experience in toxicology, with a focus on in vivo studies and risk assessment.
My career includes roles as a Toxicologist at Merck KGaA, Director of Regulatory Affairs at Proteus Pharmaceuticals, and President and Founder of CiS Toxicology in Osorno, Chile. Since 2007, I have provided consulting services to global clients in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and pesticide sectors, delivering expert reports, regulatory submissions, and risk assessments. My work is informed by extensive knowledge of international regulatory guidelines and hands-on experience interacting with competent authorities.
